About EquiSearch.com

Created in 1995, EquiSearch.com was among the first horse websites, and is one of the few continually active since then. In 1999, it joined forces with award-winning equine magazines EQUUS, Dressage Today, Practical Horseman, Horse & Rider, Spin to Win Rodeo, The Trail Rider, Horse Journal, and American Cowboy.

EquiSearch.com works closely with these magazines to deliver the content horse owners care about: tips on riding and training, authoritative information on horse care, the latest horse sports and industry news, plus sweepstakes and active online forums.

Today, with more than 4,000 articles, EquiSearch.com is one of the most in-depth horse websites on the Internet.

Staff

EquiSearch.com staff members, passionate horse owners and riders themselves, are on a mission to provide you with the most informative, interesting and helpful information about horses and horse ownership. EquiSearch.com columnist Nancy Jaffer, author and award-winning equestrian journalist, interprets the English and international scene.

Lindsay Porter, Content Manager

Lindsay can't remember a day when she wasn't passionate about horses. It was through this obsession which revealed her artistic side and later inspired a career in design. To date, Lindsay has immersed herself in the equine industry for over 12 years, an active Hunter rider who's successfully competed at the local and rated levels as an Amateur. Based in Pennsylvania, she is currently the proud owner of a 9 year-old Paint gelding, Dexter.

Jayne Wilson, Community Director

Jayne is a native of Great Britain and has ridden, cared for and loved horses all her life. She studied the British Horse Society's curriculum, taking the "Stages" exams in Stable and Horse Management. Now based in Texas, Jayne owns Annapolis, a gracefully aging Thoroughbred, and Star, a black Percheron.

Cathy Laws, Editorial Director

Cathy has been writing and editing for publication for more than 20 years. For 11 years she was the editor of SPUR Magazine, an award-winning national bi-monthly devoted to English equestrian sport. In 2000 she founded Equestrian Life, a content/shopping website that was acquired by the U.S. Equestrian Team. She is based in Maryland.
