In the days and weeks following a natural disaster, many horse owners will undoubtedly find themselves faced with the challenge of caring?for their animals as they begin the recovery and rebuilding process. The September 2011 issue of EQUUS Magazine features a Special Report that outlines how to do that. The article was written by Jennifer Williams, PhD, who rebuilt her Texas farm after a hurricane in 2008, only to move and have her new farm hit by a tornado in 2010.
