Ioannou has also enjoyed a great deal of success vaulting individually as well. She was the AVA National High Point Champion at Copper (2005) Bronze (2006) and Silver (2007). Also in 2007 she was the AVA/USEF National Champion at the Silver level.

Lizzie Ioannou competes both individually and as part of the Mt Eden A team. Ioannou began vaulting at age seven but has gained many accolades in a short time.

As a nine year old Lizzie was the flyer on Mt. Eden?s National Champion A team. At age ten she was on the National Champion F.A.M.E. team that won the silver medal at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany.

As a member of the Mt. Eden team, Ioannou was on the 2009 National Champion A team.

Lizzie has also had a lot of success vaulting individually as well. She was the AVA National High Point Champion at copper (2005) bronze (2006) and silver (2007). Also in 2007 she was the AVA/USEF National Champion at the silver level.

She is currently in her 4th year vaulting at the gold level. She was ranked among the top 10 US female vaulters the last 2 years.

Ioannou competed in her first individual international competition in April 2010, CVI Ermelo finishing in eighth place.

When she is not training or doing schoolwork, Lizzie enjoys shopping, scary movies, "Glee" and the occasional donut.
