In the Case Report "Hampton's Hidden Hoof Problem" in EQUUS June 2009, we chronicle the recovery of a Thoroughbred gelding with a serious injury. The gelding had apparently stepped on himself in the pasture, effectively amputating the outside quarter of his left front foot. The following are graphic images taken the day of the injury.
