Longe-Line Class

Season your youngster for a showing career by entering him into a longe-line class.

Longe-line classes are where yearlings are shown at the end of a longe line. They offer owners a chance to get a jump on their horse’s riding career, as well as showcase the young prospect’s potential for the show ring.

“The purpose of the class is to demonstrate a the horse’s potential to be competitive under saddle by evaluating his movement and manners, way of going and expression, and conformation,”

says David Dellin, American Paint Horse Association director of judges and second vice president of National Snaffle Bit Association.
