December 10, 2015–The holiday season is upon us, and EQUUS magazine is spreading the cheer with its online Holiday Hounds Photo Contest. One grand-prize winner was chosen by the public out of 46 unique entries, each of whom was asked to share a favorite “pooch pic” that best exemplifies the spirit of the holidays.
Facebook fans voted for their favorite to win, giving Beverly Davison the grand-prize title. Davison’s photo, which captured her dog Ruby in festive holiday finery, was selected for its interest and uniqueness. For her efforts, Davison will receive a $750 prize package including toys, health products, feed bowls, treats, polo shirts, hats and gloves from sponsors Blue Seal, Doc’s Products, Inc., HorseTech and Omega Alpha.
“With her adorable photo of Ruby, Beverly managed to capture the whimsy of the season,” said Laurie Prinz, Editor of EQUUS. “We offer her hearty congratulations and wish all of our readers the happiest of holidays.”
