This program was designed with the western working “using” Morgan in mind. Whether there is one Morgan or 40 on a farm/ranch, this is an avenue to help promote the western using Morgan horse.

Participating farms will be listed on AMHA’s website, www.morganhorse.com, and may use the program’s logo on their respective website. Participating farms also will be eligible for the Ranch Horse Network? Award, where nomination and selection will be made by fellow program participants with the recipient to be featured in The Morgan Horse magazine.

To date, the present enrollees represent 853 Morgan horses used on farm and ranch work across 22 states. One enrollee said, “I just want to commend you for starting this program! Out here in the West, Morgans have been used by a lot of the old Californio/Vaquero Ranchers, especially in my area. It is fantastic to see this program which can help promote the Morgan Working Ranch Horse.”

The enrollment/participation fee is $20 per year, but enrollment is free for Standard, Premium, and Life Members of AMHA.
