McCutcheon clinched the top spot on the first U.S. reining team to compete at the World Equestrian Games with a win at the USET Reining Championship.

Coming from an equestrian family, McCutcheon is married to another reining competitor, the former Mandy McQuay, and joined on the team by his brother, Scott. Their father and other two brothers also are involved with horses.

He is a two-time National Reining Horse Association Derby Reserve Champion and a finalist at every major NRHA event. Besides his success in these areas McCutcheon also owns Tom McCutcheon Consulting Services, and manages some of the top broodmares in the industry.
