Dr. Frisbie received his Bachelor?s Degree in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Wisconsin. He then completed a surgical internship at Cornell University in New York where he began his research in joint disease. Later he obtained a Masters Degree in Joint Pathobiology at Colorado State University while completing a surgical residency. During his work on his PhD, Dr. Frisbee became Board certified in Large Animal Surgery and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Post residency, Dr. Frisbee focused on treating joint disease using novel methods such as gene therapy and IRAP. His research interests include: Gene therapy, intra-articular therapeutics and new methods of cartilage repair.
