It was another thumbs-up year for Steffen Peters, who won the World Dressage Masters with Ravel when the competition was staged in grand style by Wellington Classic Dressage and the International Polo Club after it was shut out of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Steffen is coming back to the Masters in January at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center to defend his title against super stallion Totillas and his new rider, Matthias Alexander Rath. Additional memorable 2011 moments for the USA’s top dressage rider also included the national Grand Prix championship in September with Ravel, and double gold in the Pan American Games on Weltino’s Magic.
