Morse Withdraws Kingston; Barisone and Neruda Traveling Alternate for U.S. Olympic Dressage Team

Michael Barisone and Neruda will replace Leslie Morse and Kingston as traveling alternates for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Dressage Team.

July 31, 2008 — Alternate Leslie Morse has withdrawn Kingston from the U.S. Olympic Team in Dressage for veterinary reasons. Following the selection procedures, the U.S. Equestrian Federation named replacement horse/rider combination Michael Barisone and Neruda as the traveling replacement for the U.S. dressage team.

Neruda is a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Jane Suwalsky.

The horses shipped to Hong Kong for the Olympic Games on July 30, the dressage competition begins August 13.
