White-Carty Withdraws; O’Connor and Mandiba on U.S. Olympic Eventing Team

Karen O'Connor and Mandiba will replace Heidi White-Carty and Northern Spy on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Eventing Team.

July 29, 2008 -- Heidi White-Carty has withdrawn Northern Spy from the U.S. Olympic Team in Eventing for veterinary reasons. Following the selection procedures, the U.S. Equestrian Federation named replacement horse-and-rider combination Karen O'Connor and Mandiba to the U.S. Olympic Team in Eventing.

Alternate Bonnie Mosser has also withdrawn and will return to the U.S. with Merloch, who sustained a minor injury.
