Riders Announced for 2013 George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session

The 12 riders who will participate in the 2013 George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Fla. have been announced.

December 5th, 2012 — The United States Equestrian Federation will ring in the New Year with the seventh annual George H. Morris Horsemastership Training Session presented by USHJA and Adequan. The Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Fla. will once again host the prestigious clinic January 2-6, 2013.

The following 12 riders will participate in the five-day training session sponsored by Practical Horseman and Equestrian Sports Production:

George Morris, the legendary horseman and U.S. Show Jumping Chef d’Equipe, will lead top young riders through a comprehensive program in horsemastership throughout the week. ‘Horsemastership’ encompasses mounted sessions as well as stable management and veterinary and farrier care. Experts from throughout the equestrian world will lend their expertise in both mounted and educational sessions. The aim of the Training Session is to develop a pipeline of young “horsemasters” for future U.S. Equestrian Teams.

The public is also welcome to audit all mounted and educational sessions at no charge.
