U.S. Eventers Martin and Ashker Head to Pau CCI****

The United States Equestrian Federation has awarded grants to two U.S. eventing riders who will represent the U.S. at the Pau CCI4*.

October 24, 2010 — Boyd Martin (West Grove, Pa.), who was the highest placed U.S. competitor at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games last month when he finished 10th with Neville Bardos, will ride Remington XXV for Henley House Stables at the Pau CCI4*, November 4-7, 2010. Remington was 12th in his first CCI4* at the 2010 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Bridgestone. Remington was also short-listed for the World Games.

Joining Martin will be Laine Ashker (Richmond, Va.). Ashker and her own Anthony Patch finished two places behind Martin and Remington at the spring CCI4*, which was the ex-race horse’s first four-star. They recently won an advanced division at the Morven Park Horse Trials in the beginning of October.

The following horse/rider combinations will be representing the U.S. at the Pau CCI4*:
