3-D Belt Company has reached an agreement with 8-time World Champion Cowboy Joe Beaver to produce the Joe Beaver Tack Collection.
"We're proud to have the 3-D brand associated with a cowboy of Joe's stature," 3-D president Steve Dees said. "We've built a reputation for top quality in western merchandise and wanted nothing less than a top-quality partner as we move into a tack line"
Available in stores in the fall of 2007, the Joe Beaver Tack Collection will include headstalls, halters, nosebands, roper reins, spur straps and breast collars. Joe Beaver was personally involved in the development of the products, from initial design through quality assurance.
"My success depends upon the products that I use in competition," Beaver said. "3-D offered me the opportunity to develop a line of tack that meets my standards for performance and quality."
The Joe Beaver Tack Collection features hand-tooled, all-leather construction with durable stainless steel hardware. The collection was designed with function in mind for competitive and working cowboys. "Our goal was to create hard-working tack that still has an element of fashion to it," Dees said. "We did not, however, sacrifice quality for fashion.
A member of the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, Beaver turned pro in 1985, and won his first World Championship as All-Around Cowboy. Since then, he has won two more All-Around Cowboy World Championships and five World Championships in Tie-Down Roping. His career earnings of $2,597,896 through 2005 make him the PRCA all-time career earnings leader.
3-D Belt Company was founded in 1988 making belts in Schulenburg, Texas. Since then, the company has expanded into other leather goods such as wallets, handbags and cell phone holders, home and office decor items, belt buckles and jewelry. The company's other brands include Badger, Silver Strike and Sentry.
