TIME: 11:30 am ? 2:30 pm

PLACE: Clinton Park Stables

Come see for yourself over brunch how the celebrated carriage horses of New York live and work!

The Horse and Carriage Association welcomes you to an open house at Clinton Park Stables on 52nd St., for a chance to meet our horses, their vets, farriers and caretakers, and members of the industry.

More than half of NYC?s carriage horses call Clinton Park Stables home.? Clinton Park Stables opened in 2003 in a stable that was originally built in the early 20th century to house the freight horses for a cardboard company.? Like every New York City carriage stable, it has been modernized for the latest in urban horse-keeping.

Come climb the famous ramps for the horses who live upstairs.? Check out the sprinkler system and the misting fans? and find out how we deal with manure from 75 horses in the middle of midtown Manhattan.

Bring your camera and your questions, and check back often as we announce special guests who?ll be available at the meet and greet!

Please register below if you have not already registered elsewhere on this website, as we will need a headcount so we will know how much food to provide at brunch so we can appropriately welcome you to our horses? home in the city.

Attendees at the Open House will be given vouchers for complimentary standard carriage rides in Central Park on April 1, any time between 8am and 10am or 3pm and 6pm.

This event is FREE.
