Warming Up for WEG: Show Jumping’s High-Flying Meydan Series Heads to Rotterdam

Do you have trouble telling one Whitaker from another? Are you convinced the Beerbaums are all the same person? You can get to know the stars of the showjumping world by watching them “on television” in the Meydan FEI Nations Cup series, which is like the PGA Tour for show jumping. The series has just finished a stop in St Gallen, Switzerland, and now will move on to Rotterdam in The Netherlands.

OK, so the “television” is really your computer, but FEI TV is broadcasting the entire series for the world to see. FEI TV is in English and also has information about the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games and all the disciplines. Many of the programs on the web site are free, and the YouTube site is filling up with interesting trailers and promos.

You can use your mouse like a remote and flip back and forth to the site that the US Equestrian Federation (USEF) has set up for the USA riders in the Meydan series. But you probably already know them–it’s time to get to know the competition, like Kevin Staut and the rest of the red-hot French team that has been piling up the victories!

The international horses and riders don’t have to be confusing to you, just sit back and get to know them on FEITV!
