Safety Thought: Don't Get Tripped Up

?Once you’re done riding for the day, even if you keep on your heeled boots, be sure to remove your spurs, especially if they are long-shanked ones. it’s too easy to trip over your own feet while wearing spurs. don’t even think about climbing the stairs or a ladder into the loft while wearing spurs. The same goes for longeing, where you can not only trip making a tight turn, but it is easy for the end of the line to get caught on the spur (although it shouldn’t drop that low to begin with).
