TWHBEA’s Second Extreme Cowboy Race A Huge Success

July 1, 2011– The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders? and Exhibitors? Association (TWHBEA) hosted its second Extreme Cowboy race June 25, 2011 at Circle E Guest Ranch in Winchester, Tennessee. The race, which was affiliated with the Craig Cameron?s Extreme Cowboy Association, attracted 26 entries from across the southeast. Those 26 entries competed before Judge Diana McMurtrey in four divisions – Novice, Non-Pro, Ride Smart and Pro.

Event sponsors included Wahl Clippers and Manna Pro and awards were presented to the top three riders in each division. First place riders were presented with a set of Wahl clippers and a monetary award, second place riders received a copy of Tennessee Walking Horse: An American Tradition and a monetary award and third place riders left with a monetary award.

All in all it was a great weekend for Tennessee Walking Horse and Extreme Cowboy Race enthusiasts alike. Special thanks to the TWHBEA staff members and volunteers that made this race possible.
