Tarleton State University is looking for help locating some stolen custom saddles. The saddles and bridles were stolen from the school’s Equine Center, in Stephenville, Texas, southwest of Ft. Worth. The theft took place on July 7. Several saddles, multiple show bridles, spurs and other tack items were stolen. All the tack is used for classes and Tarleton’s Stock Horse of Texas, or SHOT, show team. The list of missing items includes three saddles, customs spurs with “DOC” on the band in silver and other gear. TSU police are investigating. If you have information, contact TSU.
