EquiManagement Veterinary Business Magazine Welcomes VBMA Members

With the sponsorship of Merial, EquiManagement will provide the Veterinary Business Management Association members with business education free of charge.

September 12, 2013–Thanks to a special sponsorship by Merial, all members of the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA.biz) now receive free subscriptions to EquiManagement quarterly veterinary business magazine as well as EQUUS, one of the most respected equine publications in the country. Both magazines are published by Active Interest Media’s Equine Network.

Current and former officers and members of the VBMA Board worked with the EquiManagement staff to create this sponsorship by Merial, which will provide VBMA members with business education information free of charge.

“The EquiManagement and Merial staffs are pleased to be able to offer this educational resource to veterinary students interested in becoming good business leaders as well as great veterinarians,” said Kimberly S. Brown, Associate Publisher/Editor of EquiManagement. “While EquiManagement is written for equine practitioners, the information it contains can easily be used by any veterinarian or vet student to develop new skills and ultimately enhance his or her business. We hope to build and expand on this relationship to continue to offer more resources to VBMA members, and we appreciate Merial supporting the education of veterinarians of today and tomorrow.”

VBMA members are looking forward to the launch this fall of EquiManagement.com, which will boast a wide variety of business education offerings and resources for veterinarians, veterinary students, veterinary technicians and those who handle the business in veterinary practices.

EquiManagement: Business Solutions for Equine Practitioners is a quarterly magazine dedicated to the education of veterinarians, veterinary students, veterinary technicians and those who handle the business of a veterinary practice.
