Two runaway zebras caused traffic to go haywire on a busy residential street near Sacramento, according to the Associated Press and ABC news affiliate reports.

No one was injured in the incident, and the zebras were recaptured after a five-hour chase. Witnesses said animals weaved in and out of traffic. Law enforcement officials captured both zebras, one in a residential neighborhood and the other in a wooded area. Owner Michael Mustagni told ABC News Sacramento that the zebras are used at rodeos and also to breed with horses to produce a hybrid animal that is easier to ride.
